There are many causes for air pollution.They are given below.

*** Smoke created by industries  & factories
      It is one of the major causes for air pollution.Everyday industries & factories are emitting smoke which is poisonous & act as pollutants.The smoke mix with the air and pollute it.

*** Vehicles & Cars Smoke   
       It is the another cause of air pollution.The vehicles and cars create smoke & finally pollute the air of the environment. 

*** Burning of Oil,Coal & Others Natural Gas
       Burning of Oil,coal and others natural gas helps to pollute the air as it create different types of pollutants. 

*** Volcanic Activity
       Volcanic activity is one of the natural causes for air pollution.It create ash & release pollutants which make the air polluted.

*** Storm & Other Natural Disaster
        It also helps to pollute the air.

*** Miscellaneous 
       There are also some other causes for air pollution.Such as, smoking, smog(fog+smoke), burning wood etc.

We live an environment. There is nobody who can live without environment. But it is a matter of great sorrow that our environment is being polluted day by day by various kinds of pollutants & things. Environment is polluted when it’s air, water,& soil is polluted at the same time or polluted as separately, both. Now I will discuss about the Air Pollution's fundamental.

Air Pollution

Air is one of the most important components of the environment. Without it, it is impossible to imagine an environment. But it is a matter of sorrow that, The air is being polluted day by day with different kinds of toxic substances. If we want to give a definition of air pollution we may say that 

“The mixing of pollutant , toxic & harmful substances into the air which can affect directly or indirectly to       human & animal & others of the environment.”

The pollutants, toxic & harmful substances may be smoke,dust, and any other poisonous things that is able to mix with the air very easily or gradually.

Harbaria the beautiful place of Sundarban,Bangladesh.

Harbaria,Sundarban,Bangladesh

Location:
It is located beside the river Poshur at the Chadpai range of Sundarban.
At the North side of Bay of Bengal.

Information About Harbaria(Sundarban,Bangladesh):

Ø  Climate subtropical.
Temperature changes from 20 degree C in Dec-Jan to 28 degree C in Jun-July

Ø  The annual rainfall is average between 65-70cm.

Ø  During ebbtide the forest becomes bear by 6-7 ft & at high tide (30miles per hr) the entire territory of the forest floats on water.

Soil pattern of Harbaria:

Ø  Three types of soil: Clay soil, Heavy soil, Silty soil 
Salinity of soil up to 8PPT.
Fertile soil owing to continuous silt deposit.  

How to get there:

Ø  From anywhere to Khulna launch ghat, Khulna.

Ø  We can hire a launch & go to Mongla port.

Ø  From Mongla port it takes 2-3hrs to reach herbaria ecotourism center by engine boat or hired launch.

Where to stay :

Ø   3 rest houses of Mongla port authority are available where tourist can plan their stay.

Ø  However, prior booking is required, but it is also possible to stay in launch at night.

Biodiversity of harbaria:

Two major components of biodiversity are:

         A)    Flora

         B)    Fauna

Flora:

Ø   Sundari (Heritiera fomes) the major flora.
Other flora are: Golpata, Segun, Korai, Passur, Keura, Geuwa, Goran, Hental, Amur, Singra etc.
High salinity of soil intends to create bayonet like roots of flora.

Fauna:

Ø  Spotted deer, rhesus monkey, Estuarine crocodile, Honey bees are major fauna.
Others fauna are Python, Brown owl, Heron, Wild boar, Kite, Royal Bengal Tiger, Fishing cat, gray mongooses, Kingfisher etc.

Biodiversity conservation of Harbaria:

We can conserve the biodiversity of harbaria by applying following processes:

Ø  Apply organic farming.

Ø  Control illegal entry.

Ø  Protect wildlife sanctuary.

Ø   Minimize deforestation.

Ø  Increase public awareness.

Ø  Control coastal water pollution.

Ø  Maintain normal ecological balance.

Essential information about Kachikhali,Sundarban

Basic Information about Kachikhali:

The sundarban is the largest single mangrove forest in the world. It is about 10,000 square kilometres. In Bangladesh the two-third of the sundarban are situated.  Which is about 6017 square kilometres. Kachikhali  is one of the beautiful part of Sundarban.

It is located at Sarankhola Upozilla in Bagerhat district. It is too far from both Mongla & Khulna.

Kachikhali is under Sundarban East sanctuary. It is 14 km east to the Katka .This dense forest facing the Bay of Bengal. It has a zone named “Tiger Point”. It is a beautiful place of Sundarban.

Species of Kachikhali:

The species of Kachikhali is considered on the basis of two terms

a.Fauna

&

 b. Flora.

Fauna :

                Mammals : Chital deer, Wild boar, Porpoise.

                Birds : Crane, Pelicone, wood sandpiper Pied

kingfisher, Brown winged kingfisher .

                Reptiles : Crocodile, Asian common Toad.

                Amphibia : Brown Frog, Water monitor lizards, Asian common Toad.

               Fishes : Gangetic dolphin,Flying cat fish, Porpoise.

Physiography of Kachikhali  :

                        physiography includes a tide dominated allochthonus type of mangrove wet land. The mud flats  are found at the estuary . The flats are exposed in low tides and sub merged in high tides, thus being changed morphologically even in one tidal cycle. 

Soil types and salinity of Kachikhali :

                        Soil types of Kochikhali includes silty-clay loams, sandy-clay loams and soil with organic and peaty deposits. The soil is oxygen deficient and nitrogen content is also low. Soil pH is more or less acidic. The salinity of surface soil is high [mostly chloride, bi carbonet salts of sodium, magnesium and calcium ].

Climate of Kachikhali :

             Kachikhali region has a warm humid climate .

Biodiversity of Kachikhali :

             Greater bio-diversities are found in Kachikhali. Species richness is also high. It is rich with different kinds of flora and fauna.

Above all it is an excellent tourist spot of Sundarban.

Katka The Beautiful Place of Sundarban (Details)

Basic Information about Katka:

Katka is one of the segments of Sundarbans. Perhaps it is the most beautiful place of Sundarbans for natural amazing beauty. It is one of the most breathtaking spots in the area, where one will see Spotted Deers and Royal Bengal Tiger. This beautiful spot however was severely damaged during the cyclone SIDR. Comparing to Hiron point, this place is more wild and has a beautiful sea beach on the west of this point. Anyone can reach Katka From Khulna Forest Ghat, B.I.W.T.A Ghat & Mongla by water vessels like speedboats, sea truck, cabin cruisers, or launch. It is an excellent tourist spot & every year our government earn a lot of money via this spot. 

                  

Geographical Information of Katka:

Katka the beautiful place is about 100 km from Mongla & about 150km from Khulna city.

Nearby cities: Bhagabatpur Crocodile Project, Kakdwip , Chemaguri Bazer. 

Coordinates:   21°50'59"N   89°46'57"E

The biodiversity of Katka:

There are many Tourist Spot in Sundarban. Katka is one of Heritage sites in Sunderban. Katka a base for safaris, and well spot to see tigers and for bird-watching. Katka is well known for many rare and majestic wild animals. At Katka, one can see many precious wild animals right from tigers to deer and also varieties of birds and many kinds of monkeys. Here one can hear the natures’ music mixed with the wild fowls in the mornings and evenings.

For those interested in wildlife trekking, the vast expanse of grassy meadows running from Katka to Kachikhali (Tiger Point) is an ideal route.

There are two types of living species in Katka

1.Plant species:

            a) Black berry.

            b) Mango.

            c) Palm Tree.

            d) Miscellaneous trees of Sundarbans.

2. Animal Species:

            a) Royal Bengal Tiger.

            b) Monkey.

            c) Miscellaneous Birds.

Environment of Katka:

The environment of Katka is very nice.There are many Fauna & Flora available in here. The climate is also fine.Katka is the most beautiful place of Sundarban for its amazing beauty.It is also a tourist spot for its natural beauty.

The climate of katka is not so bad although natural disaster take place during the season of disaster.The environmental conditions of Katka prove that the average rainfall of Katka is adequate.It is the only place of Sundarbans which is known as the best tourists spot of Sundarbans.It has possible due to its climate although other environmental things(trees,animals) play role for this.

Significance of Katka:

There are many significance of Katka. They are given below.

***  Katka is a beautiful tourists spot.Every year our government earn a lot of money via this tourist spot.

*** It has sanctuaries of animals(Royal Bengal Tigers,Monkey etc)

*** It has a beautiful sea bech which is also the other tourists spot.

Conclusion

Katka, the important place of Sundarbans with its natural beauty is one of the awesome tourist spot. It plays a vital role on economy of our country.Above all it is an awesome place not only in Sundarban but also our country Bangladesh.

Green House Effect: The greenhouse effect  is a mechanism by which thermal radiation from earth surface is absorbed by atmospheric greenhouse gases(SO₂,CO₂  etc) and is re-radiated in all directions. Nowadays it is a common phenomenon in the world & it has a great impact on our environment.

Causes of Green House Effect: There are many causes of greenhouse effect. From which some are natural & majorities are human made. Man open pollutes the environment by emiting SO₂,CO₂  etc which are the culprits for greenhouse effect. On the other hands man open cutting down trees in a large  amount daily as comparing their plantation.Which is helping to increase Carbondioxide in the atmosphere. Pollution of the environment is also play a vital role for greenhouse effect.

Impact of Green House Effect: There are many impact of greenhouse effect on our environment. They are given below through different points.

           1.Global Warming: It is one of the common phenomena which is occurred due to Green House Effect. If Green House Effect is occurred in the environment, the ice of two pole of the earth (North & South pole) will be molten. Because greenhouse effect help to increase world temperature.

           2. Environmetal Pollution: Environmental pollution will be occurred if greenhouse effect is taken place.

           3. Obstacle to sustainable development of the environment: Green House effect also obstacle the way of sustainable development of the environment. It is damaging the way of sustainable development.

There are also other impact of Green House Effect on our environment & surroundings(such as Sea Level Rising). Above all we should be careful to our environment & try for a sustainable development of it.
